Materials

If it's metal, we handle it.

Dynamic has significant experience producing products from carbon and stainless steels, nickel, cobalt and titanium alloys, copper, brass, bronze, aluminum and many other exotic metals, as well as armor plate for ballistic armor applications.

Widths & Thicknesses

  • Starting Strip Width:0.400 in.to 22.000 in. (10.2mm to 558.8 mm)
  • Starting Thickness:0.010 in. to 0.156 in. (0.25 mm to 4.0 mm)
Carbon Steels

Low cost components

More than 90 percent of all steels produced are carbon steels. They contain varying amounts of carbon, but not more than 1.65 percent of manganese, 0.60 percent silicon, and 0.60 percent copper. The lower cost of carbon steel makes it an attractive material when compared to other materials such as stainless and alloy steels. If you need more strength but want to avoid the cost of regular alloy steel, consider high-strength low-alloy steel.

Armor Plating

Military grade for ultimate vehicle protection

Dynamic has significant expertise in supplying military grade armor parts to the major defense contractors for today's most challenging heavy and light duty combat vehicle requirements. These high strength and high hard steels were developed specifically for their ballistic defeating purposes and are used in a variety of military and private security armoring applications. Each heat lot of material is subject to stringent ballistic testing by independent government approved test labs before being qualified for use.

HSLA Steel

More strength than carbon steel, lower cost than alloy steel

HSLA steel costs less than the regular alloy steel because they contain only small amounts of the expensive alloying elements. HSLA steels have much more strength than carbon steels of the same weight. Numerous products are now being designed with HSLA steels, as they can be made thinner to reduce weight without sacrificing strength.

Many commercial products covering a wide range of industries utilize these steels. Dynamic currently produces steel products for agricultural and off-road equipment, general construction, and retail store fixture, recreational vehicle and transportation industries.

Stainless Steels

Aesthetically appealing corrosion resistant metals

Stainless steels contain chromium, nickel, and other alloying elements that keep them bright and rust resistant in spite of moisture or corrosive elements. Found in critical jet engine components and industrial butterfly valves, these steels are also used in applications such as store fixtures and architectural shapes because of their aesthetic appeal and durability.

Dynamic produces a variety of different stainless steel products for several different industries. Whether your application involves corrosive elements or you just want an attractive finish, Dynamic can design, engineer, and manufacture your stainless steel products.
